Public parking (cars)

Public parking is available 24/7 in the "expo Parking" parking garage (P8). During larger events, additional parking spaces are available on the Kleine Allmend (P5, P6) and/or on Wölflistrasse (P17). The Wankdorf Center Parking is not an official exhibition parking lot.

Are there disabled parking spaces?

Yes, you will find 5 parking spaces for people with disabilities in expo Parking:

Basement 1: 3 parking spaces

Basement 2: 2 parking spaces

In addition, there are further disabled parking spaces in the outdoor parking areas of P3 and on Tschäppätstrasse.

Are there charging stations for electric cars and e-bikes?

You will find two charging stations for electric vehicles in the expo Parking garage. In addition, there are numerous public charging stations for electric cars in Bern.

There are currently no charging stations available for e-bikes.

Where do I park motorcycles, bicycles and trucks?

At Papiermühlestrasse and Tschäppätstrasse you will find covered bicycle racks and parking spaces for two-wheelers.

Trucks may only park in the public parking areas after prior request: expoparking@bernexpo.ch

Are there parking spaces for nightliners and VIPs?

Nightliners can request parking with hookups. We can also provide VIP parking spaces with direct access to the venue and backstage area.

Is there a maximum parking time?

The maximum parking time in the outdoor parking areas is 24 hours.

Which vehicle types are permitted?

The maximum entrance height in the Expo Parking garage is 2.10 meters. Trailers, motorcycles, and larger vehicles are not permitted.

Vehicles with trailers up to 5 meters long and trucks up to 3.5 tons are allowed in the outdoor parking areas.

Where can I find additional parking spaces?

During events, we provide up to 4,000 additional parking spaces within walking distance of the BERNEXPO area on P5, P6 and P17 – some with shuttle bus service to the exhibition grounds.

You can find other parking garages in the surrounding area and the city of Bern at Bern Parking .

Can I sign a long-term rental agreement at Expo Parking?

Are you interested in a long-term rental space at expo Parking? We would be happy to inform you about current availability, prices, and terms. Please contact us by email at expoparking@bernexpo.ch . If a space is available, you can fill out the rental agreement directly and send it to us by email as well.
