BERNEXPO GROUPE Report

In 2019, the BERNEXPO GROUPE successfully consolidated its position as the leading Swiss live communications company. Our work is currently overshadowed by the spread of the coronavirus, which poses a major challenge to our industry.

Messepark Bern AG Report

In February of the 2019 financial year, the BERNEXPO GROUPE and HRS Real Estate Ltd. signed a letter of intent to further develop the existing infrastructure of Messepark Bern AG and in particular to implement the new BeMotion Base multifunctional hall.

Sandra von May-Granelli joins the Board of Directors of BERNEXPO HOLDING AG

Sandra von May-Granelli was newly elected to the Board of Directors of BERNEXPO HOLDING AG on 29 May. The 58-year-old trained notary is the manager, owner, Chair of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Feusi Bildungszentrum AG. Her other duties include service as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Private University of Applied Sciences PHW Bern (Private Hochschule Wirtschaft PHW Bern) and as a member of the Board of the Trade and Industry Association (Handels- und Industrieverein) of the canton of Bern and the Swiss Employers’ Association (Schweizerischer Arbeitgeberverband).

Tom Winter becomes new CEO of BERNEXPO AG

The Board of Directors of BERNEXPO AG has elected Tom Winter, a 46-year-old EPFL engineer, as its new CEO. In addition, the company is optimistically looking to the future with the Neue Festhalle planned for 2024. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has now forced BERNEXPO to cancel the traditional BEA spring trade fair once again.
